The Nature of Awareness
Friday Jan 03, 2020
Friday Jan 03, 2020
Awareness is something that can’t be replicated. It is the single biggest gift that humanity holds over everything else in the known universe. We aren’t just alive but we are aware that we are alive. We aren’t just going to die some day but we are uniquely aware of the limits of our own mortality. Every positive thing that’s ever been said about the efforts of humanity is driven by the awareness of that fact. It is the recognition of who and what we are that allows us to try and maximize our experience. Today I lay out a case for you to strive not just in what you do but to strive for an increase in the awareness of what you do.

The opening monologue is by Alan Watts.

Effort > Metrics
Tuesday Dec 03, 2019
Tuesday Dec 03, 2019
In today's episode, Rick breaks down a common point of confusion along the journey of personal development. In order to continue getting 'better', we must first understand what 'better' means. This often means shifting our focus from arbitrary metrics to our own internal measure of effort.
To apply this knowledge in your own life, check out the Clarity Academy, a 12 week online course designed to teach you who you really are and what you want out of your life.
